17th Social-Justice Sing-Along: We the People Edition
The US Constitution's signing will be 250 years and three days old on July 7, 2026.
July’s Sing-Along celebrates the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence; the adoption of the latter will be 250 years and three days old on July 7, 2026.
As the Constitution’s preamble reminds us, it is WE THE PEOPLE who ordained the Constitution. And it is WE THE PEOPLE who determine the nation’s character, especially when that character is being besmirched by misguided and unenlightened politicians.
As always, we’ll be singing songs to bring solace and to encourage community building, but we’ll also highlight tunes of Justice, Tranquility, the general Welfare, and Liberty—all qualities promised us in the Constitution!
Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, 7:00-8:30 pm, in Druid City Brewing Company’s (DCBC) “Moon Room,” Tuscaloosa, free, and open to all.
This Sing-Along will repeat many of the favorites we've come to love singing along to and will feature some new tunes, too.
Lyrics and chord charts will be provided in advance and projected on a screen during the Sing-along.
No musical ability required! If you've got acoustic instruments, bring 'em! Free and open to the public.
The DCBC serves food as well as both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bring the kids and make an evening of it!
